CMS Mission Statement

Conway Middle School acknowledges and embraces diversity while promoting high expectations for all students. Our goal is to assist students in the production of quality work. Students are exected to master standards that require high level thinking skills and involve real world problem solving. Instruction is focused on these standards and learning is engaging and challenging. We recognize that parents are equal partners in the educational process and their envolvement is vital to their child's success.

We are committed to the belief that all students can achieve success in a safe and civil environment.

To provide a nurturing learning environment where all students can be successful, Conway offers three academic programs for 6th and 7th graders:

   The Fine Arts Academy offers a challenging curriculumn that uses the power of the arts to motivate, enrich and inspire students to use their unique gifts to foster an awareness and appreciation of cultural diversity.

   The Technology Academy learning experience promotes problem solving, citizenship, technical expertise, writing proficiency and environmental awareness.

   The College and Career Academy exposes students to a wide variety of career and post-secondary educational choices and explores students' personal choices and explores students' personal interests and aptitudes in order for them to make knowledgeable life choices.
